Welcome to Famely! By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Account Terms
- •You must be at least 13 years old to use Famely.
- •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- •You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
- •One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.
- •You may not use Famely for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
2. Acceptable Use
- •Be Authentic: Use your real identity and provide accurate information.
- •Be Respectful: Do not harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
- •No Spam: Do not post repetitive or misleading content.
- •No Harmful Content: Do not share content that promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities.
- •Respect Privacy: Do not share others' personal information without consent.
- •Follow Laws: Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
3. Profile Review
- •All profiles are subject to review before appearing in the spotlight or search results.
- •We reserve the right to reject or remove profiles that violate our guidelines.
- •Profile rejection does not entitle you to a refund if any paid features were purchased.
- •You may update your profile at any time, which leads automatically to a resubmit for review.
- •Review decisions are made at our sole discretion to maintain community standards.
4. Spotlight Feature
- •The spotlight feature uses a weighted random selection to choose users from the pool of approved profiles at regular intervals.
- •Your selection weight is determined by your invite tier — inviting friends increases your boost multiplier, which means higher chances of being picked.
- •Selection remains random; having a higher boost does not guarantee selection, it only increases your probability relative to other users.
- •You may opt out of spotlight selection in your profile settings.
- •Being in the spotlight means your profile is visible to all users during that interval.
- •We reserve the right to remove users from spotlight at any time.
5. Prohibited Content
- •Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content
- •Violence, gore, or graphic imagery
- •Discrimination or harassment
- •Impersonation of others or misleading identities
- •Spam, scams, or phishing attempts
- •Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- •Malware, viruses, or harmful code
- •Any content that violates applicable laws
6. Intellectual Property
- •You retain ownership of content you post on Famely.
- •By posting content, you grant Famely a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform.
- •You may not copy, modify, or distribute content from other users without permission.
- •The Famely name, logo, and branding are our intellectual property.
- •Report intellectual property violations to famelydevelopment@gmail.com.
7. Termination
- •You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
- •We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
- •Upon termination, your profile will be removed from the spotlight pool.
- •Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
- •Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
8. Disclaimers
- •Famely is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- •We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to our services.
- •We are not responsible for the content posted by users.
- •We are not responsible for any interactions between users.
- •Use of Famely is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
- •To the maximum extent permitted by law, Famely shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- •Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Famely in the past 12 months, if any.
- •Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
10. Changes to Terms
- •We may update these terms from time to time.
- •We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
- •Continued use of Famely after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- •If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account.
